hello, i have an 87 F150 with 2 bad fuel pumps (out of 3) and one rusted out tank. I was wondering if i could convert the truck to the simpler, 91- up 2 pump setup?? I have a 93 F150 that i could use for misc. parts (valves, etc.) but i was planning on buying new pumps and tanks anyway, i thought this could be an option ...

You could but you need all of the fuel lines off the 93 (return and supply from the tanks to the engine). There is no valve or pump on the the frame in 93. It is all in the tanks except for the fuel filter.
You would also need to do a little rewiring at each tank also.
Not sure if you would also have to change the fuel manifold (rail) and fuel pressure regulator or not.
Same size engine?
