Who is going to do the first LS swap?

These LS motors are going in everything. Looking for sombody to document and show some good pics of a nice swap. I'm in the middle of building a 6.0l iron block for boost. Engine is going in my 2500hd. Might get the bug to do a swap with the ls in my truck now once I pull it.

I think with time the new 5.0 that is in the f-150 will become very common. It will be a good engine to swap to other vehicles possibly.

Kinda fords version of the LS motor. Good power and availability. We can only hope.

It'd probably be easier to swap the Bronco body onto the donor truck...

That was my thought as well. With having to deal with the harnesses from new to old....different sensors, PCM...etc. Sounds like a body swap would be easier.

How about a cummins swap? The cummins was ford's best diesel ever!!!

Yeah, you guys know if someone showed one off you would enjoy it.

I know a friend of mine found one and swapped it into a colorado for almost nothing, cheaper than I could do a cummins in my bronco... There's a lot more room to work in the bronco than in a colorado.. Might be obvious troll though, I can think if a dozen motors I'd rather swap in if I had the opportunity.

Here here!!! If it is a ford it should run a ford engine. At least the 6.9 in my baby was built for ford use and put inb ford trucks from the plant. I hate even hearing about cummins swaps! Chevy in a ford is heiracy and punishable by burning at the stake!
