Talking Creek Stompin For Trout

I guess it's almost that time again when the creeks fill up with trout and salmon . All though I'm not much of a trout or salmon fisherman, I still like to get out and enjoy a day of walking up and down the banks of a stream in search of the ever elusive big fish.

Anyone have any honey holes to share, other than the over crowded tributaries of Lake Ont.

Ah yes, much like me cruising the aisles at Safeway or Loblaws looking for that perfect fish for dinner

I usually go checkout the stream at my unlce's place - it runs out to Lake Ontario some place eventually - it is neat to see the determination of a fish in shallow water swimming up stream just to spawn.
You might want to check out the streams and such in the Newcastle area Nutter.

I think I'm gonna take a drive over to the Newcastle-Bowmanville area this afternoon and scout out the creeks.

Thx for the idea Alex

Dennis

I find that the looks I get walking through the supermarket with my hip waders on, and noodle rod in hand are kind of funny. I just tell em "I WILL NOT GO HOME EMPTY HANDED" can you please direct me to the "FRESH FISH " section please!. Or I just stand around the live tank sorting through my vest while asking anyone (with a look of crazed hillbilly determination on my face) "WHAT ARE THEY ALL HITTING ON TODAY"
