2005 brake problem fx
hey i changed my brakes about a month ago and now they are hanging up in the rear end like the ebrake is engaging them. i took them apart today and manually screwed the ebrake adjustment out but there still hanging up. any info would be great. i thought i have read on here before about haveing to release the ebrake some how but i could be mistaken thanks for the help

I'm not familiar with the setup as I haven't worked on mine yet. but far as I know it is a disc/drum combination and if it is like other drum brakes that I have worked on you have to take a brake adjuster or flat headed screwdriver and adjust the brake shoes. I'm probably not much help but maybe someone knows more. I know that if the caliper is like on some cars where you have to screw in the piston, the piston has a line that has to line up vertically and the inner pad has a dimple on it that lines up with the piston. That would cause similar problems as you described if not lined up, but I think that is on rear disk setups only and not the disk/drum setups.
