Hey everybody, I just joined the chapter so heres a bit about me and my truck.

I've got a 1963 F100 styleside "wrong bed" (non-unibody) 2wd. Its got a 302 which was rebuilt in December by Kodenko in Santa Paula, its gotta C4 trans which will hopefully be swapped soon for an AOD to make it more freeway friendly and a lot of other custom goodies such as custom gauges, sound system etc. I've owned the truck for just over a year, I picked it up when i was 17 as my first vehicle and ive been having fun with it ever since.

I'm studying up at UCSB right now but I have to come down to Ventura to do any sort of work that requires more than pliars and a screwdriver.

Thanks for lettin me join the chapter!

A Gaucho, huh? Glad to have you Dave

Your truck looks like it's in real good shape. I like the oil pressure, volts, tach and flasher added to the cluster.

I thought all '63 half tons were uni's. Learn something every day.

Thanks Steve. The gauge cluster was originally just the center speedometer but i did some shopping around, found the three gauge cluster and dropped in the Autometer gauges.

From 1961-1963 F100 2WDs were either stepsides or unis but the uni was cancelled mid-year in 63 so to keep a styleside in the lineup they put the 57-60 beds on the trucks
