Coil placement
Hi gang, It has been a while. I have missed all of you.
I'm trying to get back into my truck and have accomplished some things since my lst post.
But for right now, I wondoer if anyone knows where the coil mounts on a 54' 279 ci engine. I took it off a bit ago, and do not remember where it bolts back ( oh dopey me ) My maint manual looks like it mounts horizontal, but I do not have 2 matching bolt holes.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have been media blasting and have a lot of the truck done. Still have not pulled thecab. Mayby this summer.
Today I was putting back the radiator, brackets etc,
I have purchaced a solid state ignition and will be putting it in very soon.
Goal!!! to get it runing so I can move it out of the shop from time to time.
Thanks all,
It feels great to be posting again.
