Riffraff Diesel is coming to OZ

Thats right, Clay from Riffraff diesel is coming Down Under.
Riffraff Diesel

This is a great opportunity for all the Powerstroke owners out there to gets some first hand knowledge from someone who lives and breaths F250 powerstrokes. Clay will also have the opportunity to understand the difficulties we face with the ordering parts to suit a right hand drive truck. We are looking at November 2011 but could put it off to early next year if it suits all. The idea is to have another Get Together so Clay's time is put to good use with all in the one spot. You could have your parts ready and we can install them over the weekend. It will be held in Sydney due to time constraints.

So what Im after is a general consensus on what time. ie Nov or early next year. We would like to get as many of us together.

Good news Brian! It'll be good to meet Clay and have a general yarn.

Better work out a venue. If we try to do something like they do a RRE we'll get thrown out of the caravan park for working on our vehicles while there! Thinking caps on the find a suitable venue!

Either date will suit me. The MIL lives in Sydney, she's staying with us now!
So I've got digs in western Sydney for whenever Clay gets over here.

Can we start an order book for stuff for Clay to bring over when he comes? Obviously keep it ordered items light, so no suspension systems. I'd be up for a DP tuner! And a 38R if it passes the weight limit!

That gives me until Nov to organise and fit a 4" turbo back system.

So you use too work at a airport clay, before going into the truck parts business ...

While i got ya im trying too decide between ARB air difflock or maybe detroit E locker , i think we can get them in different diff ratio's,im gunna put 35 or 37 inch tyres on soon and want too gear my truck back down to say where it was with the stock tyres.
When i went from the stock tyres 31" too the 33" tyres,my fuel economy went up by 3 or 4 ltrs per 100k's and i lost about 10% performance...

Yeah, used to fly for a living and also managed the fueling line.

When I went to 37's I swapped to 4.30's not long after. Brought me back to stock and gave me power back. An ARB or E-Locker will work well I am sure but just becareful you don't bind it up and break your axle. Limited slip diffs are normally recommended for front axles.

-mines a dana 60 Bryan, cant see yours being any different.
-Id say the wire on ya diff is the speed sensor for the PCM data.
-what this about Coffs ?? havent heard that one.
-what size rimes are you going for. 16" or bigger.
-you decided on your lift yet

That is your vehicle speed sensor or VSS. Without the tag on your front diff you will need to pull the cover to tell if it is Dana 50 or 60.

would be there to meet everyone and have some drinks, but won't be able to afford to drive across the Nullarbor due to getting married in my August off-swing. It's a shame too, I'm home for this. Oh well lots of pics, fellas

Righto mate thanks

Coffs, mrs wants too move there instead of mackay, cuz the kids and grandchildren can visit more, half in the goldcoast other half in penrith.....SMBS

But if get my way we'll be in mackay

Wouldnt mind 18" rims, cuz i reckon 20" would be just a bit too much as far as deflating my tyres for the sand or the bush 4wding..

As for the lift, im going too get the airbagit full 4" lift kit
1999-2004 F&R FORD F250/F350/EXCURSION 4WD SINGLE REAR WHEEL 3.5" Axle 4" lift, 8" travel, Front and Rear Suspension, Complete with Plug & Play
i conned her into saying yes, used the aussie dollar to do it
just gotta get me diff locks sorted of clay..

Me thinks ya diff locks will be cheaper sourced locally - Sorry Clay

18" and 35's with only 4"lift - dunno bout that. and as you said 4"will be on max air which I would think would be pretty rough on da spine.

Not much work at Coffs bro ???

ARB Air difflock ARB Kilsysth Victoria $1250

ARB Air difflock CLAY USA $840

35" tyres is ok with 4" lift, the kit im getting is a 4" lift kit,so it will lower down too stock height and lift 8 inches above stock.....

They also got a 8" lift kit now so you'll be able too lower down to 4" above stock and 12" above..

Actually joe told me that they custom make anything ya want, just ask..

I sent kelderman and an email on his 5" lift airbag suspension also..

Ring up lyn and tell her its a ghost town and full of theives and rapist's will ya..
