Not yet. I've seen quite a few older cars and motorcycles with HID Projectors retrofitted and it looks pretty sharp with the sealed beam illusion with the projector housing in there. The BMW guys seem to really like the conversion on there older Bimmers.

I also had purchased the LMC plug in relay kit and euro style headlight lenses with sylvania silver star bulbs and the whole upgrade was well worth it. I make alot of other drivers unhappy at night as they are blinded. these are the euro headlights http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fc/865w/0057.jpg

I just put the LMC euro lights in today. I put the relay harness in last year, it made a noticeable improvement.

Bringing back an old thread.

Saw this from JBG today
Heavy Duty Headlight Harness

Any bets they are the same thing LMC sells for $3 less?

I'm trying to decide if I want to buy one of these kits or make my own like I did on my Alfa.

Anybody who is running one of the LMC or JBG kits add a "high beam flash" or "forced low beam" switch like seen here:

That is totally the LMC kit, but $3 more. I'm lazy at the moment, the LMC kit used to be $29.99.

Yeah - it might be just $2 more than LMC. I looked at both yesterday but at different times. I know the JBG was $32 and was thinking LMC was $29, but it may be $30.

Anyone have any more comments about this "kit" vs. wiring your own? I figure if the relays are bad in these "kits" or if you're going to go to 30 or 40 amp anyways - it might be worth just wiring my own.

I never had an issue with either the kit in my 74 F100 or 87 Ranger. That's from -10 to 100+ degrees

Thanks. I've just heard a couple guys saying the relays included in the kit are junk & go out quickly.

Those are the same kind of guys that could find something wrong with a free stack of a million dollars.
