Wiring harness source suggestions

I'm looking for advice on where to get an under-hood wiring harness for an F1 (1950). I'm beginning to have too many problems (of course one at a time) with the original wiring and want to replace the entire harness from the block under that dash outward. I'm looking for an original or original style reproduction along with a wiring diagram. Anyone at FTE that has had a good experience with a vendor, I would love to hear from you.

There is a guy in your area...Tyree Harris, 804-833-5200. He makes all types, good prices too. I bought one from Mac's, it worked great, fit great, made in USA.

Dennis Carpenter is a good place for original stuff. But Candie at Classic Hauler is a sweet heart.

YNZ Yesterdays Parts is who I went with. They use correct color coding cloth covered wire. They also incorporated many mods I requested, like running lights into turn signals, dash indicator turn lights, remote electric fuel pump just to name a few of mine and still keep a stock apearance.
If you want to just swap out old stock for new pretty much any of the Ford parts suppliers will do.

Thanks to all. Does anyone know if MACS or DC use the color coded cloth covered wire? I do plan on an exact replacement, there are no modifications under the hood - everything is as it should have been when new (just not frayed, bare, and spliced with sections that went bad replaced).

If not, it sounds like YNZ Yesterdays Parts may be the way to go.

Guys over on the HAMB swear by Rebel Wiring.

http://www.rebelwire.com/

I bought a kit and it looks good but I am saving wiring for better weather up here in the rainy NW.

Mac's is one of the more reasonably priced suppliers. Along with Concours Parts, out of Carson City, NV. They both sale correctly colored cloth bound wiring. I just a couple pieces in myself, the one for the starter solenoid on the '54 I'm building, as well as the one for the tail lights. They are both remarkably accurate, and were not too expensive. Personally, due to cost comparison, I don't use Dennis Carpenter, or LMC. I buy only from Mid-Fifty, Mac's, and Concours Parts. All three offer the best prices on everything, at least from my research.

They are excellent for any aftermarker wiring that needs done. Their harnesses are very clean, and straight forward. However, they do not offer a cloth bound harness.
