Can my F-350 6.2 pull this???
My diesel truck is being replaced with a 6.2 V8 Crew Cab Single Rear Wheel F-350. I am looking at purchasing a 35ft long travel trailer that weights 11,000lb with it all loaded up. I would appreciate any feedback on whether you think it would handle it or not.
Thanks

It'll pull it, but you probably won't be happy with it much of the time. As others have stated, a lot depends on what type of trailer, the height profile, etc. There are a few guys on here with tuned 6.2's towing that much in a fiver and they're pleased. I'd contact Mike at 5 Star to get the scoop and what you'll need.

I sure hope it does 'cause I just ordered one. My fiver weighs 11k ~ 12k loaded up. Most of our towing is in the flats and rolling hills so it should be OK. With the 4.30's the 6.2 is rated for 22k gcvw. With the diesel the highest I scaled was 20,500lbs loaded heavy with water in the tanks.

I must say that is a great looking 5th wheel.
Does it have an elevator to the top over the cab loft?
Love to see the interior shots.

Here are the only two I can find right now. The first one is not mine, but one from their website I had saved. Ours has carpet in the bedroom and glass french doors, otherwise about the same. The big mirrored closet is the top slideout. The head of the bed and cabinets is what is over the cab of the truck. The rear end has a queen hide-a-bed and two leather recliners with stools. We have had it for 4 years now and really enjoy it. It pulls real nice in the wind.
