Alternator

I have a 2001 f250 and my alternator is bad. Do I have a single alternator or a dual?

single. Unless a previous owner rigged you up with 2.... but that's HIGHLY unlikely. I bought a 200A "large case" alternator from Eagle Auto Electric off ebay. Either grind the bracket or add washers/spacers to get it to fit.
