Red metallic. I think it's called laser red, with dark gray below the trim. The usual two tone XLT paint job.

I'm in west Tennessee. My mom lives 12 miles from Murray. I live in Jackson, TN

I'm about two hours from Murray. I got a white truck, but I'd be fine with painting if you are. You got access to a shop to do the swap in? I'd be willing to drive down if you do.

And yes, the throttlebody has to come off. I believe it's four 10mm bolts. Then I think two phillips head screws hold the TPS on. May have to remove the TB cooling lines to get at everything. It ain't bad. Just get ya a new gasket. And you prolly don't need any sealant on it. I used too much permatex when I pulled my lower-intake and my TB, EGR, IAC are gonna suck if they have to come off.

It took about 5 minutes after I took off the throttle body.

K-red is there any damage to yours? Mines got a dent and a ding, but neither are very bad.

It's got a nick in the pass. side fender (they're fiberglass if you didn't know). The step pad on the front driver side is missing, but I can replace it beforehand if you want. It's in great shape otherwise.

Sounds like they are in similar condition. I'll be at my moms all weekend working on the truck. I have a laundry list of things I'm going to do. We deffinatley need to get together. I'm going to shoot some pics tonight and get them posted.

Ok here's this weekends plans.

Transmission; Put a bottle of seafoam trans conditioner/cleaner in it Sunday. I'm going t drive it all week and change the fluid and filter this weekend. Any advice on this would be helpful, since I'm a novice mechanic at best. I'm also planning on using a B&M 10025 shift improver kit. Any recommendations on the B&M?

Brakes; Doing the front discs this weekend, and the rear drums next weekend. I'll get back to you on the rear. It's been a looooonnnggg time since I've done drum brakes.

Engine; Plugs, Plug wires, Distributor cap, Under drive pulleys and a Jet Performance Module.

I don't think I'll be sleeping in any this weekend.

Going through my punch list of things to do, and I have some shackle questions. DJM has 2 different kits, the SH10142 and SH10152. The 42 is just the normal shackle, but the 52 has a different type of shackle and what appears to be a beam that runs between the frame rails connecting the two shackles. Can someone tell me what thats for? Do you know it it's a weld in item or a bolt on. The DJM website sucks BTW. The only thing the tech support has, is links to articles that they have written.

Hopefully this link works. It shows both shackles.

I'll try to get some pics of mine too. I'll warn ya that it's pretty dirty right now cuz I ain't washed it in a while, but it would clean-up nice if you weren't gonna need to paint it.

Also, does anyone have a good source for interior parts? I need the dash pad that goes above the glove box and wraps around the radio.
