Help with Tailgate

I'm new here, I've got a 1979 Ford F-150 Custom Shortbox and I need to know what font is used on the tailgate for the F O R D lettering???

Ford makes their own Font's.

I've looked for it all over.

What do you think I should do then? I just got the tailgate painted in black and I'm suppose to get decals made that fit perfectly over the letters in red... Maybe I'll need to bring the tailgate to the guy and he could just make them fit perfectly over the letters.

Why don't you just have them painted red? That is the customary thing to do.

I got a set of precut decals at my local paint store in white for less than $10 that fit perfect. Just tell them the color (white, or red) and year you want.
