For sale is my 1999.5 F250 Crew Cab Short Bed 7.3L 2WD XLT (with leather seats) I planned to keep forever. The color name is "Harvest Gold," but it's really more of a tan color. However, I have the opportunity to purchase my friend's Excursion with a BTS tranny in it, some other nice mods, etc., hence the reason I'm selling.
99.5 model means it has the larger turbo housing, forged rods (for those thinking about hotrodding it), and doesn't have the "diode problem" like the 2001 transmissions did. This truck runs great, shifts great, and for serious buyers you are welcome to run a CarFax report on it.
THE GOOD:
-180,000 miles (turned over yesterday), no wrecks or floods
-4" MBRP turbo-back exhaust
-aFe Stage 1 intake
-Tricumulator valve in transmission for clean shifts
-Billet grill
-Brand New carpet
-Lariat leather seats in OK condition, have pull-over seat covers in front
-Brand New headliner and visors
-New OEM Carlite / Ford windshield
-New Amsoil tranny and crankcase fluids
-Step bars / running boards
-Passed inspection and reg in 2/11, renewals in 2/12
-Front tires <5,000 miles on them, rear tires 50% tread left
-Recently replaced water pump
-Recently replaced upper and lower ball joints
-Tinted windows all-around
-Never had a performance chip or programmer used on it, always stock
-No rust
-Original paint / clear coat in excellent condition (no flaking)
-A/C works great (new blower motor about a year ago)
THE BAD:
-Power Mirrors are "clicking," haven't tried to repair them yet
-Sliding rear OEM window needs a new latch ($10???)
-As mentioned above, the leather driver and pass seats have tears (hidden by seat covers), and small tears in rear bench seat
-Two small dents, but not bad, and the inside of the bed is scratched up from use (no rust)
Am asking $9,750 sold in the Houston, TX area, and reasonable offers will be considered. Please PM or email me if interested.
I have personally seen this truck and it is just as Mark describes. Mark is a stand up guy and will answer any questions you have about it honestly. Check it out.
