300rwhp/400rwtq, stock bottom end, cam, and efi/ecm. Basic mods were head porting, and adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Read more here---->> https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...ts-are-in.html

beautiful. . .read all the ops posts and this is JUST what i needed to see. id be very satisfied with the 400 lb ft peak and damn near 300+ at idle. . .

so, my biggest question now is how different are the ole SD electronics vs his later 96 SD?

If i had the time i would go find a late model California MAF 460 wiring harness and just convert it. Or maybe just do the A9L Mustang computer swap. Actually its not hard its very time consuming and its definitly intimidating.

yea thats the problem with budget swaps. . . ive found that cheap is time consuming and painstaking, but fast and easy is very expensive. i wouldnt have nearly the amount of toys that i have if i didnt spend countless hours fabbin stuff vs buyin stuff outright. but, its just the name of the game so i try not to think of it like that lol

Ok so.im gettin close to makin a decision of what im gonna do here. . . What's the most compression i could run with the 460 SD setup? How bout the 351? And the 302? I think if the 460 SD isn't as lenient i wont go that route. Gotta make a decision soon while all my other toys don't need any attention. Thanks for info.
