i have a 2003 lightning with a problem?

I was driving down the road the other day my truck just died. all electronics worked but when i went to restart i got nothing. i waited about 15 mins it started back up and i drove home. the next day i started my truck and once agian it died a couple miles done the road. so than yesterday i checked it out and there was no gas pressure so i figured it was my fuel pump little did i know but my truck has 2 fuel pumps but i tested them and the both seemed to be perfectly fine. than i check all fuses and all relays and every thing is fine. but the fuel pumps will not turn on when i put the key to the on position and the relays doesnt seem to be clicking over but the relay and fuse are fine. also my odomiter is reading no miles it just has lines across it. does anyone have anything else i could do or check?? thank you ps its a 2003 ford lightning with 34k miles

Do you have more than one set of keys? I am not sure when they stopped using the passive security keys but if your key is getting sleepy or even worse - the key reader module- you can get no response because the security system is not allowing it. If you have another key try it. If you do end up having a key that is going bad you can now get them made at Ace hardware stores but they are $65 for one key. My 02 Escape has the chip key and it was working off and on (if you squeeze it hard) so I took it to Ace and saved a lot over dealer having to "test" everything.

in the under hood fuse box there are two black fuse looking things that are diodes, it sounds like one of those is going bad or dosent have a good connection. check them or replace them.
