These broncos only came with power rear window unless it was 77 or older. The AC option is nice too. I also wish my truck had the round headlights, but you can't be too choose right?

Bill, it's a joke. Friends don't let friends drive Bronco IIs. I've owned imports in the past (good and bad). I was just ribbing you.
I know, I was just ribbing you right back.

By the way, I didn't know Bronco's rear windows slid down until recently, let alone had power back windows. Did the ones without power back windows have cranks for the back window?

I think that is super cool. Does anybody remember the old Ram Chargers? I remember my dad had one when I was a little boy. I loved that little monster. When I become older and became a Ford man, naturally I fell in love with the Ford version.

The '66-'77 Bronco had the back glass mounted in a frame in the top. It didn't roll down, it opened like a hatch with a pair of self-latching braces that held it when raised... Not hydraulic "strong arms" like modern vehicles have. You opened the glass up and it latched up. To lower it again, you lifted slightly and the braces would release and let the glass/frame close. The tailgate still lowered the same way and the license plate frame was spring-loaded so that if you opted to run with the tailgate open, you could flip the license plate down so it could be seen.

Only the full-cab early Broncos had the rear glass. The half-cabs (obviously) did not. (Yes, the EB was available with a factory half-cab complete with a bulkhead behind the front seats).

This Bronco's so mint. The only damage is that scuff on the driver's side of the bench (and a few miscellaneous dings on one fender.)

First time my brother's and my Broncos were together.

The red '81 (the first) is mine.
The white/tan '84 is my wife's.
The blue '86 is my brothers.

I do wish we had gone to a better location than in front of the house. And, a better camera than my phone. But, eh, what can you do?

I love that too, especially when they look over and give you a thumbs up.

I wish i could say the same, any bronco owner i normally see they don't pay any mind to me and TGM... Though i noticed someone works at the local walmart and he has a white 90s bronco, similar to the OJ one but this had a bug shield thing. I don't know the owner though.

Doesn't happen very often. Too many that drive them don't care about them in the slightest. It's just awesome when you find someone who does though, and thinks it's great you have one. Rare, but fun.

Hey Gruesome, I watched your youtube vid, and couldn't help but notice you have a locking hood latch.

Click the image to open in full size.

I've never known anyone else that had one.
