It just doesn't look right with the little tires. Maybe if they filled the wheel well better. Do you plan on lowering it anymore? Going for a Pro Street Bronco?

I'm not a fan of dropped trucks but I do like dropped Broncos. I'd never drive one, but they are awesome.

You all seen that dropped Bronco with a modern F350 front clip swapped in? it's pretty sweet

Mmmm I'm thinking that's not a Bronco. Front clip could be swapped, true ... but those are positively massive rear windows like on my Excursion. Plus, there's no seam between the shell and the body - standard practice for a show vehicle, I know - but made much more difficult by the shell being fiberglass and the body steel. Hell it could be but that thing is a total Frankenstein anyway so who knows.

Staring at it some more, those are StupidDuty/Excursion doors and quarters, too. That's a lot of work to make a Bronco into a StupidDuty... Looks to me like a hacksawed Excursion. Would be easier and cheaper.

I think the Super duty Bronco would be cooler 4x4, I do like the pro street Bronco!

Found that first one... Turns out it IS an Excursion.

SoCalCustoms 2001 SEMA shots

That last one is obviously a Bronco, though, and shows just how hard it is to splice the StupidDuty to the Bronco platform. Interesting idea.

I think a 2wd Bronco would be cool, but I don't know if I have the heart to convert one over. Maybe if I found one that was already converted I could live with it. Or, just get a second Bronco and make it 2wd, while keeping the one I have a 4x4.

I get alot of weird looks and WHY's from most people when I tell them what I did to a bronco. But I wanted to build a vehicle that could do certain things (haul my boat and car trailer and more than three people), and this filled those needs well. I found the bronco on CL for a good deal and I already had the donor 2wd F150. Some time cutting and welding and there it is. I've still got a few more custom touches planned but I want it to look like it may have been factory. Kind of a "I never knew they made one of those." I've got an album of the build so far if anyone is interested.
