I know the feeling, driving down the road listening to my exhaust leak and my tires hitting the road, can't go very fast but i have my fun.

I kind of like the look of the lights on the older one. My brothers 79 has the small orange/yellow running lights atop his but some aren't working. As with everything else on his

The '78 was my spotter vehichle, I had a UHF, VHF, and Uniden HR 2910, (modified for CB) radios and antennas. Some of these I didn't bother to install radios in, like the '80, it rusted so fast it was scary! Still own the '76, the '78 and some parts of the '80, like the tranny/transfercase and rear axle which is residing under my '91.

Found some more, I owned this one for about 3 days. Never got to drive it. Anyone else ever seen a halfcab kit for the '78-'79 years?

And friggin rare. Somebody on FSB posted an old brochure from the guys who made them. I wish they were still around. Every once in a while, someone shows up with one for sale but those are in -uh- questionable condition.

Bronco graveyard was supposed to be making a kit for half cabs but I haven't sewn it yet.

It's been "coming soon" since I bought my first Bronco in 2009. "Soon" in a JBG catalog is like the "soon" you get from their customer service.

"When will my stuff arrive?"
"Soon."

The top half of the kit fit awesome, the bottom half left some to be desired. lots of gaps and a few hammer marks and even some sprayfoam sealer in the corners. Would like more info.
