Sweet Bronco there Joe, I see in your sig you plan to do a 6.9 swap. Why that over a 7.3 or a Cummins? I 've thought about a diesel swap myself

thanks 6.9 idi is a great motor about as bullet prof as u can get the 7.3 idi 88-94 was a good motor buy if u dint watch the sca the coolant would eat threw the cycldern walls the 7.3 psd 94.5 to 03 way to many wiring for my taste and a 5.9 are made of gold so i hear i want to throw in a 4bt but i want to build it up to 300 hp minum

Been tinkering with her for a while now, trying to reverse the damage the previous owner did to her lol. Lots planned for this beast. Will probably stick with the camo paint as well .

Got a good chunk f frame from a 78 Bronco.
Hood and tube.
Will start it upon return from Military "Duties".
Trying to collect parts...60's, 5.89 gears.
Still debating Drive train standards....351 or Cummins

As much as I hate to call a truggy a Bronco (nothin' against truggies, but they're just not Broncos to me), I've got to throw in my $.02 and say CUMMINS FTW! That is - if you're doin' it for the rocks and not for the mud... and given the 5.89 gears, that's a good possibility. You gonna run 85" tires or what? Jeez.
