Remote Start.... again

So I checked out the other two threads on remote start. I bought a Bulldog RS90 system and know about needing a bypass and all that stuff. I was just wondering where do y'all get your wiring diagrams for the wires under there? Also will any Ford bypass work with my '05 Expy? Just making sure, my goal is that my original keyfob and the new one work, the system can also learn the original keyfob so I'm looking forward to this. =D

The ignition (switch) harness is found at the base of the steering column with wires noticeable thicker than all others. The VSM (Vehicle Security Module) is to the right of the glove box.

One thing I always recommend to people is to install an anti-grind relay circuit. I've had remote starters for years and every so often I still jump in, stick the key in and turn it without thinking. The anti-grind relay circuit disables the ignition switch to starter wire whenever the remote starter is active. This simple feature can help save you from having to replace a starter or a flywheel sometime down the road.

Oh man, I was just thinking about a scenario like that (turning the key while it's on). Thanks for that tip. Will look into it.

Been searching on eBay for a bypass for the PATS. Preferably a "Key-less" one. Do you have a favorite ore preferred brand?

On the Bulldog wiring page for your vehicle it says this:

NOTE #1: This vehicle is equipped with a Special Anti-theft key, to remote start you will need a Bypass module 791,(use this module IF you have a extra ignition key to place inside the 791 to remote start, if you do not have an extra key to use or wish not to have a key placed inside this bypass module, we OFFER a KEYLESS INTERFACE BYPASS MODULE that does not require a key to be placed inside the bypass modlue, this is Part # PKALL or PKFM, either one will work, to order, go to the INTERFACE BYPASS MODULE PAGE on this website.

You can get the PKALL modules on eBay for about $30.

Yeah, I was all over that already. For some reason the idiots don't actually have it on the page lol. Found some on google but they were sketchy sites. Thanks for looking though
