OT - Just another day at work

For your viewing pleasure.

This is the better side.

This side, not so good.

Not much left on it besides the drivetrain, interior and just a few body parts.

I bet daddy has already bought junior a new one. Now you tell me--when it comes right down to the nuts and bolts of it, what is so special about those cars? I know. I know. Engineering, performance, european this or that, yada yada. But it looks like any other thin skinned car that gets wrecked to me. Fiberglass and plastic crumble just the same.

You're absolutely right. The son was driving this vehicle down the freeway at a high rate of speed and lost control.

Ilya - If I understand right a guy has to hand over about $250 large +/- for a Gallardo. I've got to think your company's gonna tell the guy to find himself a body shop. It's not totalled is it? Yes/No? Stu

It's a total. I stopped writing at about $150k, and that's for the damage that I can see. It's a big pain in the rear to repair a car like that. Plus, it'll take a long time to get parts. It's not like they're in stock at the local Lambo dealer.

Salvage return cost is ranging from $45-75K. Likely will go overseas to either Eastern Europe or the Middle East.

He managed to get all four corners YEA !! Job well done !! When we were racing super late models our driver sometimes wrinkled up the right front when he became agessive and others would damage the left rear .

I saw this yesterday, but today at work I couldn't help but think about building a F1/F100 sleeper super truck using drivetrain and suspension from the Lambo. Mid engine truck would be cool. How would that rate on the Darksider scale?

I say go for it, it would make for an interesting ride that's for sure.
Be sure to make a build thread.

It would be black as night. Especially if it was chopped, channeled and sectioned to the same size as the lambo.
