loose fan 2001 5.4

My fan seems to be loose. It is loose where the fan attaches to the shaft. It is kinda hard to see because of the fan shroud being in the way. Is there any way to either tighten it? or can i replace the shaft?

apparently it looks like the bearing in the clutch was bad, but the clutch worked...I got a new one I am going to do it tomorrow and i maybe do the water pump. I am still on the fence. It was not that hard to get the clutch out and off.

Unless you really just want to change the water pump, there's not a reason to unless it's not cooling properly, or if it's leaking. My work truck has 260K miles on it now with the original water pump, and it's still good. I've actually never seen anybody wear out a modular water pump, unless they neglected the cooling system and corrosion ruined it.

Ok well i got it all done, and all back together. I have two questions now. It seems that my new clutch seems to keep the fan engaged alot. Especially when i first drove it. Do these clutches have a break in period? My other concern is that i still have a slight vibration. The clutch vibration/aweful sound is gone, but there is still some slight vibration. Any ideaa? the vibration seems to be in sync with engine rpms, and worse when in gear then when revved in neutral.

Thanks
