14mpg sounds pretty good
I calculated about 26,000 miles of gas (at 14mpg and $4.29 a gallon), plus most places diesel is now more expensive. Sitting at 245k miles it would be a bit of a toss up for me but still 26k miles is a lot.

Maybe 15 years ago. But since the 6.0/6.4 and 5.4/6.8 i wouldnt put money on the diesels having better longevity. With higher initial costs people may hold on to them longer but they dont last any longer than the modulars. But its a new generation so who knows? Hopefully the 6.2 will be a smooth 200k+motor like thr modulars where

12.5 here. Driving 70, 35" toyo MT's, long box with canopy, 4:30 gears, around 2000 miles, seems to be getting better with every fill up.
