SRW to DRW conversion questions.

SRW to DRW conversion questions.
I tried searching for this on here but couldn't find all the answers I'm looking for. I've got a '78 F250 2wd, and I want to convert it to dual rear wheels. I know how to convert the rear, but I'm not sure how to change the front so I'm running the dwr rims up front. I've looked a truck in the junkyard, but it was a rust bucket and I didn't think it'd come apart very easy. I know that the disk/hub assy is different. I also noticed the calipers are different than my F250.
What I'm wondering about is this. Will the dually style disk/hub and caliper fit on my F250 spindle? Do I need to change the spindle too? If I need to change the spindle, are the kingpins the same size, or will I need the i-beams as well?
Thanks in advance.

I don't have a dually front, but I am pretty sure you are correct in that the hubs will swap from a dually to a non dually. I know thats the case for the 4x4 trucks so I don't know why it'd be different for a 2wd. Now, to get the whole thing to work, you may have to swap knuckle to knuckle. I don't know.
Also I wanted to point out that its called SRW not SWR, stands for Single Rear Wheel and Dual Rear Wheel. Maybe just a brain fart on your part, but I caught that in the title.

Yeah, brain fart. I knew that but sometimes I get in a hurry typing. I fixed it though. Thanks for catching it.

If you have a "heavy duty" F250 with a GVWR greater than 6200, then the spindles are the same, and you can just swap the hub-and-rotor assembly from an F350 DRW truck into your F250. These trucks also have a dual piston caliper, just like an F350.
If you have a "light duty" F250 with a 6200 GVWR, and single piston calipers, then everything is different and you will need to swap the spindle/knuckles and the whole I-beam suspension assembly.
Also note that the dual wheel rims (and the hubs/rotors) on these trucks use a cone style lug nut to center the wheel on the hubs. This is deferent than the newer style duallies that use a hub-centered wheel that uses a swiveling style lug nut. They are not interchangeable.
