High RPMs with new headers.

Just drove around the block with my new headers that I just put on. I noticed that after I got on the gas quite a bit, the RPMs seemed to stay pretty high as I was coming to a stop. I almost thought the throttle was stuck for a second. Put it in neutral and the RPMs went down. Is this normal?

sounds funny. Didn't have anything like that when I put headers on my old truck.

what type of headers did you install. I'm wondering if you didn't break a vacuum line in the process of installing the headers.
