1997 Explorer fog lights- keep popping bulbs???

1997 Explorer fog lights- keep popping bulbs???
I have no idea why, but I keep putting in new bulbs (yes they are the right ones) and they last like 2-3 weeks and then they're out. sometimes they are even cracked and broken??? no idea? any help is appreciated

Are the lamps mounted solidly? If they wiggle, maybe too much vibration.

I hear ya. I assume they are bc they are the stock lights and have never been touched, but I'll check it out. thx

I had a 97 explorer blowing bulbs and it was the lamp leaking water into the housing and blowing the bulb.

If that doesn't work wipe off the bulbs with alcohol wipes after you put them in to get the skin oil off of them.
