May, 2011 Junk Yard Wishlist

This was a neat idea, thanks again to whoever suggested this!

Last month's will be unstuck and will fade away, I guess I could probably close it.

Post your wants & needs here, even if they were on last month's list; there's enough chatter on the old one it gets hard to know if somebody is still needing a part or not without reading through the entire thing.

Have to ask you guys to adhere to an FTE guideline I wasn't aware of but has been talked about amongst the mods & admins recently....

==> Please don't post prices <==

It's fine if we want to give/sell things to each other but we can't be running a Flea Market or Auction House here, that doesn't go over well with the admins. Thanks!

Hey guys I need a black rearview mirror that is non cracked. I also need a set of western style I believe swing out mirrors. They slide out on the top of the mirror housing. I was curious as to if I could remove the lense and busted it out, so I gotta get them powdercoated anyway.

Still need a ps pump bracket from an efi 460 van (Saginaw ps pump). Believe it has to be efi because it's a cast aluminum bracket. Also serpentine drive. Don't NEED the pump, but wouldn't hurt, either

There's somebody else out here looking for a 4V intake, I found one in a van last weekend but I'm not sure if it's a 302 or 351W.

And I got to thinking to myself... man, *that* is gonna suck to take off. I won't be *that* bad if I can get the engine cover entirely off, but there are all kinds of hoses and crap in a fairly confined space.

But the real issue comes with shipping... are you aware that Ford's cast-iron intakes weigh something around 75 lbs.? It'll take a mini-crate to ship such a thing, and I'd guess at least $50 in shipping costs....

Apache,

The 80-82 mechanical linkages are hard to find in the junk yards; what state do you live in?

It was $52 dollars to ship an Edelbrock intake that I had. I sold it for like $80 bucks, so I barely made any money on that one,
