Cool tranny boo boo

Ok when you put the truck in reverse it seem like the ebreak is on. All other gears are fine. Changed the fluid and filter didn't look good there alot of shavings in the pan. Any ideals would be great

It kinda sounds like a busted band - but could also be a brake problem.

A stuck brake could tear hell out of your tranny by over-working it.

The real tell would be that your mileage would DIVE!

Do a brake inspection before going further...

If you find big hassles with the brakes - take it to get warrantee service on THE TRANSMISSION ITSELF (STRICTLY!)

Do the brakes yourself

Lifetime brake sets are fifty bucks

(pick the one you want to pay for yourself)
