Hi ..been lurking around trying to find parts for my 54 one ton ford 4X4..body bit's seems hard to find ,,or I'm asking the wrong people..so.hi there..and has anyone here upgraded from a posi rear to a locker?? my bronco (79) has blown 2 posi's so far and I need somthing stronger..and yes I could stop playing with the firewall but what fun would that be??
Hi kenjh. I'll say you have been lurking for some time now. I'll ask my local Ford nut if he knows of any 54'ish stuff that's kicking around. Sounds like you are pretty tough on rear ends, maybe a little less power. I know, silly idea but I just had to say it.

the Bronco has a 428 warmed over..and yah the biggest problem is operator error...lol..the 54 I have is in need of fenders and hood..and perhaps a good cab..my front fenders have concreat and chicken wire for reinforcement,and it is a one ton with 17 inch wheels so it uses the larger fenders..Princeton?? your on the mainland ,,up in the Frazer valley??
nice area out there..I have to find a guy at the 97 mile house ..he has a bunch of old truck parts that I am after..lost his number when I cleaned up my computer..so your about the same area ....sorta..kinda ..hours away thing..on the island any hours away is upisland or in the bush ....Ok monday brainfarts are getting deeper so I'm gonna go back to work see you later..
I know the area of 97 mile. I spent my teen years and then some in Williams Lake. Normally when we go back we take highway 24. I remember there was a wrecker or someone with a swack of stuff just off highway 97. I don't know if it is there any more or not.
