BC's May I Sure Hope Spring Is On The Way Chat/BS Thread

Like the title says I sure hope spring is on the way.

Have a truck to do, some camping to do, some yard work to do, just need some spring.

Good morning to all my BC buds, here's wishing you a happy May, and a quick arrival of spring!

Morning Pat.

Something is wrong here. I looked at the sky and there are no clouds. Good thing tomorrow is supposed to be back to normal with mixed precip.

Howdy Chris. Sunny and nice here, around 60. Been a long boring day for me.

I guess bored isn't too bad when you're getting paid for it.

That is true. Just wish I had something to do to pass the time. Might have found a grill for the 67, on another Ford site. Some guy in Kansas has some stuff I may wander down and look at next Friday.

Are parts for your vintage hard to come buy. Have a couple in the wreckers yard here. Once would be a very restorable truck the other aint much good for anything other than parts.

Don't know if you can see the pics but here is one that caught my eye. If I had the cash I would probably have looked into it.

1972 F250 4X4 and parts

yeah, can't see the pics. I can find parts, just have to dig a little. I have a hood, now just need a good set of doors. My doors are really nice, but they are 67's, and they have different way to lock them (use the handle, not the **** at the window. I'll use them if I don't find good ones. Otherwise, I need fenders (I'll get those new) inner front fenders, a core support, and a few small pieces.

Good drivers doors seem pretty hard to come by. Even harder to find them at a resonable price. As far as most parts for mine I have a gold mine.

If I could get out to the southwest, or southern California, there are yards full of them. I've talked to some of the guys out there. I'd just like to put the trailer on Black and head out there. Still trying to talk the wife into that one!!

Just tell her you are going out for some milk.

I imagine most of that stuff is pretty much rust free. It's tough to find really clean stuff here. Most of all body panels.
