Truck wont start, what to look for???
#31
I looked at your info, found it said chevy is why I said voltage at the starter. At this point if you don't need to drive the truck I would let it dry out for a couple days instead of keep giving voltage to a possible wet starter. It may dry out in a few days and be ok. If you keep shorting it with voltage trying to start now it could ruin the starter. Just a guess, chuck
PS: I didn't think to ask if you have a circuit breaker or fuse for the start circuit?

thank you, you guys fixed it
THANK YOU GUYS.I checked every single thing you told me to check and Finally I heard the started "click".The dizzy had water in it so I air dried it with the compressor and air gun.
I knew It wasnt the battery so I took my starter out and my friend came over and he checked if it still worked.
The starter had water and some dirt but it was stuck.
I cleaned it and now it works.I also broke a little piece of the solenoid plastic cover and the debris would not let the starter turn properly
It runs now thank you,the shocks make a huge difference it rides better but I think I might have strip the bolt that goes into the break hose to the brake cylinder on my driver side.I cant get that side right!!!!first I stripped the hose so I went and bought an other one and now I think I stripped the bolt as I have a small leak.
I hope I dint strip the strip the cylinder I dont want to have to replace that.
The truck is my DD and I hate driving my gfs matrix and No i dont have afuse or circuit breaker ,only at my lights mess.
