Ahh, gotcha. Thats why no problems with 3.55's.
If you had bigger, you'd notice.

No reason for bigger tires when towing is in mind. Looks like that is about what Ian's tires are too. I've had a couple inch taller tires before and didn't notice much. IIRC about 100 rpm difference at 75. 3.73's will give you about 200 rpm over 3.55's, 4.10's are +-600.

Just a thought.

false, i swapped over to 3:55s from my turd 4:10s and its litterally the best thing ive done to this truck, drivability, power, acceleration has never been better. ive noticed zero egt difference BESIDES when im really cooking up top because theres more gear. the gearing with a zf5 and 3:55s i believe is a very potent combo! 4;10s and a zf5 you just run out of gear because theres no power in a 7.3 up top but with 3:55s theres just an incredible amount of more usable power. these 2s really shine now, cant wait to see how the turbo does!

Glad you guys are happy.

For every 3.55 lover, there is a 3.55 guy bitching for 4.10's from what I see.

Oh yeah, nice truck ****!
Yea, I really think I would be happier with 3.73s...

I've got 7 or 8 rear ends here at the shop, some with 3.55 some with 4.10s, it's the gears for the front that is keeping me from swapping...

That all depends on what you are going to do with the truck...

Must drive the "legal" limit on the highways. No way I could touch that with my heavy foot
