If I was out there, I'd offer to lend a hand. Good luck with the job hunt
thanks, I just finished dropping the U haul off. Stopped off and Pull n Save since I was in the area to search for a block. Lots of vintage fords and Mopars down there. Found 2 blocks but one was sludged up and the other is opened up and the valvetrain is starting to rust. A smart salvage yard guy would have taken the time to put the covers back on the top even if he didnt bolt them down it saves the engine.

I have to get to a j-yard soon to start looking for an 80-86 with factory a/c. I need...all of it, ha! The matte black truck isn't my favorite thing when the temp is above 75 degrees outside and sunny.

I started with the dentist office today. Went to two stores getting my prescriptions filled, got home and took myself a percocet nap.

Got up and installed the swamp cooler.

I feel better now. Maybe I'll check out the Supercruise.

By the time we got out, it was a zoo. Golden PD was diverting traffic, there were no parking spots that I could see. All the cars that were running pig-rich made it hard to breath, Jeremy said he could taste the gas in the air. The sidewalks were lined with people sitting in lawn chairs...

It reminded me of going to the dirt track or the stadium races, minus the dust.

Next time, we go in the afternoon.

We are in the middle of a serious heat wave up here in the northeast. Well above 90 for 3 days in a row now, with plenty of humidity to share. No fires though, and we got hit hard with some thunderstorms last night, and potential for more this evening. Wish I could send some rain out to you guys.
