Question How do I grease upper ball joints?

So I put in Ed's kit yesterday (all 4 balljoints, new seals, o-rings) and also did the autolock hub clean and lube, needle bearings clean and lube, and replaced my caliper slide pins (had to get another caliper bracket for the passenger side though since one of the pins was rusted solid).

Anyhow, now to my real question. The balljoints came with strait grease fittings. I read somewhere that the 90* fittings aren't good for the top because the 4x4 axle will hit it. But how the heck do I grease the strait fitting?! I can't for the life of me figure this out.

Is there a special fitting for my grease gun? or will I need to screw in 90* fittings everytime I want to grease these?

That looks like it would do the trick. Let me know how it works!

In the mean time, has anyone else come up with any tricks?

yes I screw in a 90 degree fitting everytime I grease them, not that hard ,lift both wheels off the ground when you grease them.10 minute job..There was no way to leave a straight fitting in there,it wouldve got crushed on my truck...

Got my 90 degree adapter from Lincoln. It works great. I installed the low profile strait zerks when I did my ball joints. This fitting locks right on and does the job.
