04 Fog install Question; New bumper, lights, harness; pics pics pics

Ordered the new fogs for 04, new bumper with fog holes, and a harness.

old look:

Is there a specific DIY to convert my XLT bumper to the one with fogs?
I know I need a switch also.
Thanks.

I would use a totally separate switch so I could have total control and save money.

I agree with fox, the oem headlight switch with the pull out for fogs is pretty expensive. This should help:

1 W505424-S301 Hood release retaining bolt
2 16B975 Hood release assembly
3 W505424-S301 Front bumper cover-to-front bumper bolts (3 required)
4 — Hood over-slam bumper retaining bolts (2 required)
5 — Hood over-slam bumpers (2 required)
6 — Air dam pin-type retainers (3 required)
7 180101-12A581 Fog light electrical connectors (if equipped)
8 N804525-S427 Frame mounting bracket-to-front bumper nuts (4 required)
9 W706599-S427 Front bumper

Remove the hood release retaining bolt.
Position aside the hood release assembly.
Disconnect the hood release cable routing retainer.
Remove the 3 front bumper cover-to-front bumper bolts.
Remove the hood-over slam bumper bolts.
Remove the hood-over slam bumpers.
Remove the 3 air dam pin-type retainers.
If equipped, disconnect the fog lamp electrical connectors.
Remove the 4 bumper mounting bracket-to-front bumper nuts.
To install, tighten to 115 Nm (85 lb-ft).
Remove the front bumper.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Transfer components as necessary

For yours, (06-08) round fogs should be doable no problem since that was part of the (refresh) in 06.

I'm just a big kid, if I get something new I have too use/install right away. The led lights I put above the license plate got installed in the dark, with a light rain. Just because I couldn't wait until the next day

BTW, the bumper cost $100, fog lights and harness were $125 and they hooked them up to the parking lights.
