Does this sound like a good deal??

A buddy of mine and I are looking at a truck for towing, etc.

Found the following -
73 F350 Super Camper Special 2WD (extra long wheelbase)
No rust, straight body, never been hit, 107K+ miles.
Motor has been replaced with a 428SC, 4 core radiator, C6,
extendable rear bumper, 12X16.5 tires on aluminum rims.
Drives pretty good, interior in near perfect shape except for some
wear on the seats

Owner wants $3000.00 - comments??

Photos would help.
Those are rare enough Trucks to pick-up when they are available.

Sounds good to me. A rust free body is very hard to find today. And if it is a real 428 CJ, that is worth some bucks by itself. It seems these truck hold about that price range. I bought my first Ford (a 74 2wd F250 360 auto) in 1988, paid $2600 for it and it was nice. The same truck today would probably still bring $2600. Go for it if it will fit your needs.

All of that for $3k sounds like a good deal. You could probably get a few bucks for the 428CJ alone. Pictures would certainly be nice if you could provide them.
