I'd like to change the A/C system on my truck because it's still r12 somehow. When I was at the junkyard a month ago, I saw a bronco with an r134a conversion complete. Does anybody know roughly in the ballpark what the cost of a complete a/c system pulled would cost? or because it's a junkyard it would vary greatly?

 

It really depends on the individual junkyard. If you're worried about it, just ask before you spend time pulling the parts.
