transmission conversion

have a question for some of you who may be familiar with the tremec 5 and 6 speed transmisions found in the mustangs. a coworker has recently sugested using the t-5 manual trans in my project truck i thought why not go a step further and drop the 6 speed version in but i dont know if it will bolt up to an 89 302 or a 96 351 ( im sure it will, not the big worry here) however i am unsure weather it would bolt up to my transfer case a borg warner 1356, the same t-case from the factory in the early 90's f150 and f250 trucks. the chasis is an 88/ 89 f150 4x4.
