91 F150 xcab longbed 50k miles

i just acquired my grandfathers truck that he bought new, it only has 50 thousand miles on it. Has been garaged since new, and always taken care of.
For being in Maine all it's life it's in great shape, but the age and lack of use has taken it's toll on a few parts. It needs a tune up and after my 650 mile trip this weekend it needs new brakes and brake fluid. It's had 3 exhausts on it and I'll build the last one it will ever get. I'm planning on all stainless everything. I'd even like to find a set of stainless headErs for it, o a set of shorty mustang headers if they fit (I'll test fit a set I have before I buy stainless ones)
I'm not new to the forum or these trucks, just first post in this forum stating what I just acquired. I have a 00 psd and a 77 f150 2wd sb with 460 and victor heads and an f800 marmen Herrington 4x4 as well as lots of yard and work trucks.

Nice truck and cool story. Clay bar and wax it, and make that paint bright again

HAHA
yeah, unfortunatly the running boards are removing themselves. the running board had gone all the way to the rear wheel well before the trip. Ive had to fix them every other year for the past6 years, between the rattling and the lights not working. I have a brand new set of polished stainless step tubes for the xcab, with stainless brackets and hardware.
I also have a new set of polished aluminum diamondplate bedrail protectors.

It will be getting a good bath soon. The pic makes it look like its dull paint, but its actually covered with pollen. It has a really nice paintjob, being in the garage all day and every day for the past 20 years.
It was only used to bring the boat to the lake or tow the small camper. Other then that gram always used the caddy.
The inside of the bed is just as shiny as the rest, LOL.
