Argentina Slick

So who saw the Slick Jeremy Wade was driving on River Monsters new episode on sunday? Looked to be 64 or older? not sure, still learning my differences. Then i saw a dump truck slick and a couple others in background spots. Argentina is loaded with old trucks.

You watch too much tv... Go work on your truck. Haha.
I have another week before I'm into my garage. Until then I'm reading the forum and buying truck parts.

All we have for TV at our house is Netflix, but they do have RiverMonsters available to watch.

That Jeremy Wade dude is cool. I'll keep an eye out for the slick.

I agree i watch to much tv, consequence of apartment life after years of country living, dont know what to do with myself.

But after i got my 65, i just start seeing same model trucks more now. Not that i see a ton around town but every once and while i notice one and then his on tv.

Its been raining here the past several weekends so i can't get out to my truck, i'll just keeping waiting till i get good weather. I've got head and tail lights to put on, my new gauges to install. I've got a couple days of odd ball stuff right off the bat. I'll do the cab mounts and longer projects once i get it to the new place.

Thought a couple pics of some South American Slicks would fit into this thread. Note the bed on these 2 1966 Slicks.

Those beds look like uni-body style (I'm sure Ford did some weird stuff to fill supply & demand) converted into a standard Slick bed; look cool!

I'm pretty sure those beds were made by Ford earlier in the slick era when the unibody idea was going south. The top one looks a little crooked and the bottom one could just as easily be an earlier slick with a Twin I Beam badge/conversion?
