I have what i believe to be an E40D transmission out of a '94 f250 4x4 with a 5.8L, and i was wondering if they are in demand at all, and if so what they usually bring price wise? We took the pan off and everything was very clean, but I don't know the mileage because the truck had been wrecked and the odometer was broken. I'm looking to sell it but I don't know what to ask for it.

 

They aren't in high demand. Any smart person that buys a used trans out of a wrecked truck with unknown mileage would prolly have it rebuilt anyway.

 

not knowing the condition of it , it is only worth a core price ! may be less !
