Shoulder Surgeries Next Week

Hey everyone. Just wanted to let you know I'm heading to Seattle WA Monday morning.

I have some pre-op appointments Monday and Tuesday. Shoulder surgeries are scheduled for Wednesday. I'll be admitted to the Seattle (Puget Sound) VA Medical Center after the surgeries on Wednesday. Don't know how long I'll be there, but I won't be on the site for awhile.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter. Take care. I'll be back as soon as I can.

Craig, I have had 6 of them! Weaver Dunn, open S.L.A.P., 2 bone spur removals and 2 Arthroscopic trim/burn. I should have only had 1!
I fudged up and thought physical therapy (PT) was a joke and never stuck with it. I separated my shoulder in Bosnia 96 and went untreated all year. I got back garrison and then had surgery. I did my PT for about a month then I went back down range (about 2 months after surgery) feeling fine. Welp, I fudged it up b/c I gave it hell w/o PT.
I hope you have a comfy "Lazy Boy" type chair to relax/sleep in. eating, brushing your teeth and "doing paper work" may be a challenge at first.
I am not a doctor, but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn last night.

Good luck to ya Craig. My neighbor had shoulder surgury (rotary cuff). Its a long road to get back to normal but you'll get there.

PT can make all the difference in the world! after all I've through I finally found a gal that was a gift from above. Unfortunately ( for us) she retired after her second child to be a stay at home mom. This is a higher calling. She was a blessing and kept me from surgeries. Do what they tell you to Craig. Get Well soon!
