The 3rd 1966 project for me
#46
Good evening all. This is the largest post I've ever made anywhere.
Please excuse this but we're trying to document everything for our upcoming Warrant in Debt proceedings. This has very little to do with complaining and everything to do with trying to set the correct tone with the issues. Also, there are several pics that didn't make the post since they're hard to make out given the angle or close-up. All told, this is the worst screw-over I've ever experienced. This even trumps being terminated while on vacation by certified letter.
We did get the truck back around Feb 4th but it's been he!! ever since. 17 months this turkey had the vehicle and all the while did nothing but lie about what was being accomplished. I admit I always had my doubts and when I did visit to see things, I was snowed by the show and the fact I couldn't get under the truck to see things. I took the guy at his word because the people who referred me all had some terrific work accomplished. 22 months, two shops run by idiots and this is what we end up with. It can't be driven with the column, speedo and wiring issues plus the brakes don't work. The cover for it arrived today so now it will sit until we can save enough funds....again! It's gonna be a while since the daughter is about to start looking at colleges next year and she stand to get accepted at several we couldn't even dream of affording. I'd use the equity in the truck but that's what we did to afford doing the work that didn't get done! This really sucks since the car I'm driving right now was going to be hers but it won't have the 20,000 miles we planned. Because of no truck, it's at 51,000 and 24 months to go before she leaves for school.

Looks do not say it all. Taken from a distance it looks great but once up close.......not!
