So I put on a Curt bumper hitch and added these brackets called "safety struts" to help the bumper from breaking off. I'm not planning on keeping this camper for a long time so I didn't want to do a real hitch setup. Honestly I plan on upgrading to a quad bunk trailer this winter. Anyways here are the brackets.
Also I replaced the bumper caps with new ones.

In the process of replacing my stock 7.3L tranny cooler with a 6.0 cooler. I bought a can of cooler kleen, I am going to comb out the kinked fins, anyone have any additional tips or tricks to make this easier?

Is the 6.0 cooler used? If so do you know it's full history? If it was in service during any type of trans failure in the past there is no way to adequately flush them to remove debris.
As for tips to help make the swap easier have you checked out the Tech Filder above for a good write up?

I filled my used 6.0 cooler with fluid, then blew out with compressed air- gently. No issues.

Ran a can of Kooler Kleen through the cooler, blew out with compressed air, and am installing an inline filter in the return line.

Looks like Air Lift renewed their $100 rebate, so an air bags purchase is in my near future!

So is everything in this setup bolted on? The receiver and the safety brackets? I have always been concerned with a hitch on the rear bumper to carry two bikes.

The tube is still thin, the brackets will help but I don't know if I would trust them.

That was one of the selling points for the Surveyor, a rear rack unlike the Puma where bikes had to go inside.

I just took the Ex through the scale today and was wondering if the setup looks OK. I just replaced the tires and the feel is different than with the old tires. I thought I'd run it through the scale and see where I was.

Front Axle 4026
Rear Axle 5060
Trailer Axle 5654

Anything standing out to the experts? Yes I'm looking at you Tom. Still the same rig.

Same tire pressures? Same ply rating?

John, do you have any previous weights?

John, I would ask the same questions that Mark just did. Do you have the unloaded EX axle weights?
Exactly how does it feel "different"?
What were the old tires and what are the new ones?

I switched from the Michelin MS2 (My Ex didn't like the MS2's kept getting flats for no apparent reason) to the AT2 I'm running 55 in the front and 65 in the rear. They are load range E

I know I've run it across the scale in the past but can't seem to find any of the old numbers.

It almost feels like I have under inflated tires at times. I've already bumped them up 10 psi from what Michelin said they should be maybe I need more.

I'm also getting some minor porpoising nothing that concerns me but it's not as good as it was pre new rubber.

Thanks Guys

Sorry for the slow reply I was getting new tires on the trailer.
