That's part of the calibration. If it's too hot to touch, there is a problem.

However, never let me get in the way of a new toy!

I normally always shut the tanks off as soon as I plug in when I come home but this last time was odd and I didn't get a chance to plug in the trailer till a day or so later so i forgot all about the gas tanks. Lucky though that it happened here at home and I caught it!

Can I see a pic of how that mounts to the frame of the trailer? I need a spot for bikes.

Maximum tongue weight 400lbs. So not many tt's could sport that, We have a tray on the back of ours for the bikes but I like that style bike rack over the front so we could put other goodies in the back

Redacted, did not see that. Back to front receiver or receiver on TT.

I'll snap some pictures in the morning. It was expensive $680 but I wanted to take the kids bikes. I have the three bike installed they offer a 4 bike but it wouldn't fit on my setup.

Arvika - Home

I too looked at the front hitch but it meant trying to find a place for the fog lights and front plate.

That setup wouldn't work for me either, I've got my generator up front... I could get creative and mount a rack on the back above my storage box I suppose. Right now I have no way to take them unless I'm pulling doubles.

Well my wife talked me into getting kayaks and now we have 4 huge kayaks to take along on the trip as well so something needs to be moved somewhere to make room.

I said I am not putting kayaks or bikes on top of the X. They will have to go on or in a trailer somewhere.

Buy how ever many of these you need: https://www.etrailer.com/Truck-Bed-B...ks/HRT970.html

Mount to a 2' x how ever wide you need piece of ply and put the bikes in the TT. It's nice to use in the back of the X or pickup as well when you drive to a bike path or mtb trail.

I have two mounted to a 2x6 that I throw in the Ex when my wife and I go riding.

Tires

Well we left Friday for our short little run to yogi for the weekend and BOOM five miles from the house blow out a tire . They are Carlises and about 7yrs old. I know they are old, they were on it when I got it . What's the going brand now a days. I also tore out some insulation. I am thinking of repairing it and putting some diamond plate under the floor and over the tires so if happens again it will not damage floor. Any thoughts or has anyone had this happen before?
