I liked the Hemmings writer's assessment that the power level was akin to that of the era's Mopar 318.
Kind of a slug, given the weight.

One is a trick question: The blue one above isn't a Ford at all. Duramax.
The other one is a Six-Oh!, which is getting the much-needed studs.

I am really surprised how some of you can tell an engine just by one look of the short block.

Granted I’m devious
, but I thought the top pic was 7.3l. Bottom is the 6.0l
Indeed, Pop is good.

I've rebuilt a few over the years.
I was hanging around an automotive machine shop when I was fourteen.
7.3 isn't cross-bolted, and the oil pump isn't on the side of the block, nor are the oil galleries down the side.
The above photo IS a 7.3, as evidenced by the "windows" on the cam gear.

A one-off originating in Muskegon, Michigan, for a project in Dubai.
They certainly have the bucks to run with a project like this.

Heck, might as well make it camless for $1 million more.
Duke looks interesting too.

I guess if Felix Wankel could solve the combustion chamber sealing problem, I suspect that the folks at Duke can do that, too.
But that engine looks to be a huge "head gasket" leak in-the-making.

Looks like a 32-valve 5.0.
Sweet motor!
That pallet's worth some real bux!

Got it! Anytime they require EFI compatible fuel delivery system with a minimum pressure of 75 gph @ 60 PSI....
the price goes up.

They make a real nice powerplant for early-iron street rods instead of the traditional Mouse Motor.
And yes, you gotta' supply them with fuel!
