Route 66 Road Trip

If you like the "Mother Road" you have to check out these two guys on the H.A.M.B. taking a road trip in a 1960 Ford Ranch Wagon. Look for: Road Trip! D/FW - VLV via Route 66 on the HAMB.

I live in Central Illinois and am lucky enough to live very near Old 66. The place I work is actually on the Mother Road and I drive it nearly every day. One of these days when I get my truck back on the road I'll take a drive and take some pics gettin' my kicks on 66! For those of you in Illinois the Red Carpet Corridor festival is May 7-8 on Old 66 between Joliet, IL & Towanda, IL. Lots to see and do!

The two guys on this road trip really did a great job photographing. If you like Route 66 pictures checkout the link on the HAMB.

Love Old 66 and the desert southwest. I've got family in Phoenix and did a trip in 2004 from IL to AZ following the old route. Great time! Lot's of 66 history here in IL from it's start in Chicago to St. Louis.
