I think its the other way around , if you wan't to keep the needle low , just put your foot to the floor....Lew

ill look into getting one from autozone. ive been looking at getting some gauges because 1. i like gauges, and 2 i could really use some. my truck came with a tachometer and speedometer cluster so thats one luxury

My bad, lew you are 100% correct... You want to keep you vacuum high on the guage indicating there is no load on the engine. I would hit you up for more reps if the system would let me!

Nope... I do watch Extream, Trucks, HP, and MC... but that is a old school trick that Ian made new when he did the segments on saving gas in his dodge. It's a well known fact that vacuum shows the load on an engine and adding a vacuum guage is a old school trick that guys have been doing since the mid 90's at least... Check the net... there are forums all over that tell you to save gas by using a vacuum guage!

How cool are their jobs though! I'd drop my job in a second and go work on any one of the PowerBlocks TV sets!!!!!!!!!

....Yeah but i wish it was the other way around , i would get some dam good mileage....LOL.....

ha i know that its been around but your post just instantly reminded me of that show... i would love to be on any of the spike shows but the speed ones are really getting boring cough cough gearz, truck u, gaycarcrazy, and that stupid show where they build dumb cars in 72 hours etc.

just picked up a decently cheap one at autozone, Pilot brand, im gonna install it at some time today hahaha. too tired still
