7.3l Oil Leak (really BAD)

for starters, its not my truck, its my sisters. she just spent $2500 on new injectors and steering column and has no money left to fix this "new" oil problem. 2003 7.3l F-350 Supercrew long bed 4wd. she explained to me that it would leak a little oil everyday but she kept filling it. one day she noticed it leaked ALOT more than usual and drove it straight home. i looked at it, and it had oil (full line). she drove it to her sons game, and then back (about 6 miles round trip) as soon as she shut the truck off, got out and looked, she had a puddle of oil about 24" in diameter, No trail of oil leading to the truck. i looked at it again, no oil in the engine. the valley was filled, and theres oil all over the bell housing, backside of engine, starter, Exhaust downpipe, and frame rails. i ran my hand over the turbo and under the turbo and felt that it was damp, but not soaked. i felt under the HPOP. and it was soaked. the lines from the HPOP to the cyl. heads were clean and oil-free. On the back side of the HPOP theres a round plate with a snap ring retainer, and thats soaked. hope this information can help, please let me know, I REEEEEALLY dont want to remove the turbo (the last idiot who worked on it put the downpipe clamp nut facing toward the firewall and on the bottom). thanks for any input ya'll have.

Maybe it is just the hpop plug.. if so, it says it pretty easy to fix without removing anything..see:

I have a similar problem and i cant figure it out please help

i was driving down the road and the truck started to feel a little different then usual. then i started to feel a loss in power and white smoke out the exhaust i pulld over and as soon as i pulled over the truck shut off. oil was leaking from the motor and down the back. when i opened the hood and looked in the valley and there was a puddle of oil. i tried starting the truck back up and it wouldnt start so i had it towed. the next day i went to try and see where it was leaking from and when i finally got the truck to turn over it would only rev out to 1700 rpm and then just shut off. any ideas of what could be wrong or what to check

Check to make shur you have oil in the engine. These engines use the oil to fire the injectors (no oil no fire).
